Keep Your Water Bill Down

BLOG Posts

It seems the bills for everything just seem to be getting bigger and bigger. Many people don’t understand that they actually need far less water than what they use. When your water bill starts creeping up each month, use our tips for reducing the amount of water you use.

Only use water when you absolutely need it. You would be surprised how much money you could save by not leaving the water running when you are shaving, brushing your teeth or doing the dishes.

Everyone likes to have an immaculate lawn and when Mother Nature isn’t doing her job, many people water their lawns excessively. If you do need to water your lawn, then do it early in the morning or late in the evening to reduce evaporation by the sun.

One of the biggest culprits is a leaky pipe or faucet. Even a slow drip can turn into gallons of water lost in a month.

If your water bills are high, then you might want to call a plumber and have them come in and inspect your pipes for leaks. A service call could end up saving you hundreds of dollars in the long run.
